Product Overview

Expandable from 1 to 4 loops via additional MXP-502 loop driver cards and compatible with the MXP-503 and MXP-509 Ad-NeT network cards, the MX-5401 can help expand an Apollo or Hochiki addressable fire alarm system to a staggering 2,000 fire zones across 200 panels, remote terminals, and touch screens, supporting up to 200,000 loop-powered devices. Four on-board sounder circuits provide the scope and power necessary to ensure there are enough sounders to warn all site occupants, while the ability to install up to 200 additional programmable LEDs allows users to spot any fire or fault events with just a glance. Approved to BS EN 54 Part 13, the MX-5401's powerful user interface and graphical LCD display will support up to 200 zones and 127 devices per loop by default, so this panel will meet the needs of almost any premises. A host of features have also been designed to aid installers and system engineers such as Enhanced Trace Diagnostics, USB and Serial RS232 connections, and an integrated P-Bus for the myriad of available expansion cards.

Please note: backup batteries (also called a standby power supply) are not included with this panel but are a legal requirement. Suitable batteries are available separately. Additional Loop Driver cards are supplied separately and must be installed on-site.
