Apollo Discovery Heat Detector

The Apollo Discovery heat detector can operate under 5 response modes according to the behaviour required for the particular environment. Incorporating a fixed temperature response for all modes, the Discovery heat detector can also be configured as a rate of rise unit. The Apollo heat detector uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature and has a self-extinguishing white polycarbonate housing.

  • Mode 2 – A2R
  • Mode 3 – A2S
  • Mode 4 – CR
  • Mode 5 – CS
• Can be configured as a rate of rise detector
• Ideal for environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditions
• Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure
• Two red LED alarm indicators
• Forms part of an addressable fire alarm system
• Designed for use in conjunction with Morley DXc, Kentec Syncro AS and XFP panels
• Self-extinguishing polycarbonate housing
• IP54 rating
• LPCB and VdS approved and CE marked

Please note: The Apollo Discovery detectors require a standard, isolated or sounder beacon base to operate with addressable fire alarm panels.
