Tempus is a 60 minute fire rated door manufactured from steel. Designed to withstand the demanding environment of the construction industry, a Tempus fire door will help to ensure compliant fire control measures are in place on your construction site or in other temporary structures. Unlike traditional temporary timber fire doors, Tempus is maintenance-free and has an adjustable frame which allows the door to accommodate varying aperture sizes. Supplied as a complete door set with a pre-hung door, door closer and frame, this temporary fire door is easy to fit, transport and reuse. The innovative, sustainable, and re-usable design reduces the waste and cost linked to traditional temporary wooden fire doors.
- 60 minute fire rated temporary fire door tested to BS EN 1634-1
- Constructed from a heavy-duty steel with a mineral wool core
- Available in two sizes:
- Small for apertures 975-1015mm wide and 2095-2115mm tall (door size 2100 H x 1000mm W)
- Large for apertures 975-1015mm wide and 2295-2315mm tall (door size 2300 H x 1000mm W)
- Innovative fire-stopping design with Sera™ Protection
- Re-usable – remove and re-use from one project to the next
- Reduces the waste and cost associated with traditional timber fire doors
- Pre-hung unit with face-fitted fixing holes for a quick and easy installation
- Innovative travel-bolt system:
- Ensures the door stays closed during transportation
- Easier installation as the exact door gap is maintained
- Unlatched – pull handle for no-fuss operation
- Includes adjustable overhead door closer to ensure that the door remains closed after use
- Vision panel provides visibility to the other side, without opening the door
- Additional protection to the bottom of the door is provided with the pre-installed kickplate
- Upgrade to a FD60S fire door with the option to add a drop down seal
- Optional deadlock or deadlock with cylinder to provide additional security
