The BC dry powder used in this 70kg wheeled fire extinguisher is designed to interrupt the chemical reactions that cause combustion, putting out the flame and preventing reignition. As with all BC dry powder extinguishers the Norfolk 70kg BC dry powder is suitable for use on Class B (flammable liquid) and Class C (flammable gas) fires, and has also been tested to ensure non-conduction of live current, which means it can be used in the presence of electrical equipment.
