This 50kg wheeled extinguisher utilises ABC 40 dry powder and is designed to interrupt the chemical reactions that cause combustion on Class B and C fires. Unlike BC dry powder models, the Norfolk 50kg ABC dry powder extinguisher is also suitable for use on Class A (solid combustibles) fires, where the powder particles will swell and join together to form a barrier which blocks oxygen. This powder has also been tested with electrical currents and is safe to use around electrical equipment. This wheeled fire extinguisher is compliant with BS EN 3 and has been given MED Marine Approval.
