Designed with sealed-in, tamper-proof lithium batteries, these smoke alarms and heat alarms are ideal for a “fit-and-forget” solution for your fire detection requirements in your home. The tamper-proof design ensures that there is no unauthorised removal of the battery and power is always supplied to the alarm for its 10-year lifespan, without the need to change batteries. These smoke and heat detectors are ideal for landlords to put in their rented properties, as they offer peace of mind and assurance that they comply to the latest regulations.
In our range of sealed battery smoke and heat alarms, you have the option to purchase 10-year sealed battery alarms with the capability of interlinking wirelessly via radio-interlink. This offers the earliest warning to a fire, before it has spread from the origin to another room. Providing all those precious seconds to respond and evacuate safely.
Sealed long life smoke and heat alarms ensure that these sensors meet the requirements for Grade F1 installations, in accordance with latest guidance stated in BS 5829-6: 2019. For more information on Grades of alarm systems, please see our guide to BS 5839-6: 2019.
Powered by a 10 year sealed lithium battery and featuring an optical smoke sensor specially designed to maximise smoke detection and minimise false alarms, this alarm provides top-class standalone protection.
Ideal for rooms like garages, kitchens, and lofts where dust or fumes would cause false activations of smoke alarms, the UltraFire ULLH10 features a sealed 10 year battery and 10 year manufacturer's warranty.
The UltraFire ULLH10RF features a sealed 10 year battery and wireless interlink with up to 15 total alarms to alert the whole house of a possible fire emergency. Ideal for kitchens, garages, basements, and lofts.
Sealed 10-year smoke and heat alarms are designed with a long-life lithium battery which supplies the detector with power for the entire 10-year life span of the alarm. Detectors of this nature, are activated when firmly attached to the base plate upon installation. At the end of the detector’s life, the alarm will chirp intermittently in a pattern. To deactivate the alarm at this point, the alarm just simply twists off the base and the unit can now be disposed of responsibly.
Tamper-proof battery smoke and heat alarms ensure peace of mind, eliminates the possibility of the battery being removed, which happens often with the replaceable battery version. Replaceable battery alarms often have their batteries removed when it has produced a false alarm or chirps to indicate a low battery state, and occupants are ultimately left without any fire detection. This cannot occur with sealed battery alarms, as the battery is contained within the alarm and cannot be removed without damaging the alarm itself.
