Q.What is the difference between Ei605TYCRF and Ei605CRF smoke alarms, can both be used with the EI412 remote control panel?
A.The Ei605TYCRF comes with a ten year lithium battery, this should last for the life span of the alarm. The Ei605CRF comes with an alkaline battery that will need to be changed every 12 months. As these alarms are part of the Ei600 series they are both compatible with the Ei412.
