Technical Data
The 2kg Thomas Glover FirePower powder fire extinguisher is a multi-purpose extinguisher and is suitable for use on class A (solid combustibles), class B (flammable liquids), class C (flammable gasses) and electrical equipment fires. Kitemarked to BS EN3: 1996 and CE Marked, the extinguisher is supplied with a wall bracket as standard.
- Extinguisher rating: 13A, 70B, C
- Kitemarked (BS EN3: 1996) and CE marked
- Wall mounting bracket included as standard
- 5 year manufacturer's warranty
- Multi-purpose extinguisher - for use on class A, class B and class C fires
- Also suitable for discharge on to electrical equipment fires
Please note: The use of powder fire extinguishers indoors is not recommended by BS 5306-8:2012 due to the mess powder creates and the potential impairment of vision and respiration it can cause.
In many indoor environments, water mist fire extinguishers are a suitable alternative and are ideal for tackling most common types of fire.
