The Romney double sided hanging fire exit sign uses high performance, energy saving LEDs with a 50,000 hour lifespan, and can be installed in maintained or non-maintained operation. Fitted with a back-up battery, the Romney sign stays illuminated for 3 hours during a mains power failure, helping occupants identify the escape route in an emergency. The fire exit sign carries out a self-test at regular intervals by simulating its own mains power failure.
