Nest Protect Mains Powered Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm

Nest Protect smoke and carbon monoxide alarms rapidly detect fires as well as poisonous carbon monoxide (short CO) gas leaking from fuel burning appliances, sounding a loud warning on all connected Nest alarms as well as notifying you on your smartphone. They deploy optical, heat and humidity sensors to differentiate between smoke and steam, which reduces false alarms. The alarms connect to each other and your smart phone through Wi-Fi to give you the earliest possible warning. Up to 18 Nest products can be connected to your free Nest account. When smoke or CO is detected, the Protect will issue a 'heads-up' voice warning and the LED ring will glow yellow. If dangerous levels are detected, the LED ring will glow red, an alarm will sound and the voice alert will tell you what the danger is and which room it was detected in.
