Technical Data
The SMK23RU pattress is suitable for use with the Kidde Slick and Firex mains powered smoke and heat alarms. Featuring a relay circuit board, the pattress allows the alarm unit to switch other devices on/off. The SMK23RU pattress is suitable for installations where trunking or conduit is going to be used and where the ceiling is concrete.
- Helps with mains alarm installations where there is insufficient room for cable
- Designed for applications where trunking (side entry) or conduit (rear entry) is going to be used
- Ideal for use where the ceiling is concrete
- Relay board allows the alarm unit to switch other devices on/off
- Suitable for use with the following alarms:

A useful accessory to enable alarm to be linked to household burglar alarm (or other system). The connections are somewhat fiddly and the instructions a little sparse.

ok but could be better Relay works fine and no need for a seperate pattress as there is room for the wiring but terminal cover screws very small and fiddly and the screw receptacle very flimsy. One rounded off straight away then broke. Also the gap for the wires to pass through is tightish even with 1.5sqmm wire.
