The 600ml ABF foam aerosol fire extinguisher is the ideal safety feature for domestic cooking environments. The aerosol has the ability to tackle common cooking fires which involve cooking oils and small fat fires. Class F ratings are usually only found with larger wet chemical fire extinguishers, which are not ideal for home use. The compact design and suitability for use on solid combustibles and flammable liquids, makes the 600ml ABF aerosol fire extinguisher a versatile fire safety feature for domestic kitchens, barbecues and other leisure activities.

Q. Why does the extinguisher carry a kitemark but it is not CE marked
A.
This product is actually classed as an aerosol as opposed to a portable fire extinguisher. The product complies with the requirements of the Aerosol Dispensers Directive 2008/47/EC and carries the inverted epsilon "3" symbol to confirm this. The "CE" mark normally only applies to EN3 portable fire extinguishers. Although the ABF cooking aerosol is not CE marked,it is manufactured and tested to comply with the requirements of BS 6165:2002.
