It is important to ensure that your fire extinguishers are in good working order and are always ready for use in case of an emergency. A maintenance check, also known as a service, should be completed by a qualified fire extinguisher engineer on an annual basis, with a further extended refill service after 5 years and replacement / overhaul when the extinguisher reaches 10 years old. As well as giving you peace of mind that your extinguishers remain fully operational, correct extinguisher maintenance is a requirement under BS EN 5306-3: 2017.
After installation, it is easy to forget when your extinguisher/s were last serviced and when the extended 5 year refill or replacement is required. To ensure these important maintenance checks are not forgotten, we can send you a reminder, by email or SMS, to indicate when these activities are due to take place.
The reminder service is entirely free and can be cancelled at any time.
