A. Yes, the fire exit alarm is supplied with magnetic contact. And a seperate magnetic contact for shutter rollers can be purchased from us HODCS-RS
Q. Which Exit Guard product would be suitable to fit to a fire exit door that gives a remote audible/visual signal in a control room?
A. The Exitguard mains powered units would be suitable for this application. These unit allows 12V sounders and beacons to be installed alongside the unit in the control room. These would require connecting with standard 8 core intruder cable.
Q. Is there a battery operated device that can be used to sound in the event of the fire exit door being opened?
A. The Exit Stopper is a battery device that alerts you if the fire exit door is opened. The exit stopper is fitted to the door and a magnet to the frame, when the door is opened the connection between the unit and the magnet is broken and the alarm is activated.
