The analysis is carried out electrically through the electrode pads based on real cardiac output (blood flow), rather than relying on compression pressure level only. The defibrillator unit tells the rescuer to "push harder" or if they are providing "good compressions". As a semi-automatic device, the HeartSine Samaritan PAD 500P administers a shock at the push of a button, and can be used by rescuers from trained lay responders to medical professionals. Supplied complete with an AED responder kit and child pads, as well as optional indoor or outdoor cabinet.
