The Calabor LED recessed emergency lighting bulkhead is manufactured in the UK and fitted with high performance, energy saving LEDs. This fully recessed fitting has a thin, front trim plate and prismatic diffuser for a neat and stylish finish. Supplied with a back-up battery, the Calabor LED bulkhead has a 3 hour emergency light duration after a mains power failure, designed to help illuminate the escape route from the building.

Q. Is it possible for a maintained emergency light to be converted to non-maintained when installed?
A.
Yes, it is possible for a maintained emergency light to be installed in non-maintained operation. Maintained luminaires have two live connections - permanent supply and switched supply. If you decide to install the maintained light in non-maintained operation, the electrician just needs to miss out the switched live connection during installation. It is not possible to install a non-maintained light in maintained operation.
