Astroflame intumescent pipe collars are designed to seal PVC pipes in the event of a fire (can also be used on steel pipes to achieve a cooling effect). Typical installations include soil, waste and other service applications.
- Suitable for use with:
- Concrete
- Masonry
- Plasterboard partitions
- 4 hour fire rated
- Stainless steel outer casing
- Sturdy and simple clasp for easy fixture
- High performance intumescent material housed in a stainless steel shell
- Can either be surface mounted or recessed into the wall or floor
- Available in 3 sizes
- Tested to BS 476: Part 20

Q. Do you have an intumescent collar that would go over a T section pipe please? The T section is very close on one side of the wall and I am concerned that a collar would not fit.

Thank you for your enquiry. Although a pipe collar would not be suitable to go over a T section, a thermal pipe sleeve is recommended for this type of application.
