Technical Data
Astroflame PFP FR intumescent pipe wraps are suitable for a wide range of pipe types and diameters which penetrate drywalls, masonry or concrete walls and floors. Replacing the popular Astro Wrap, the new Astro PFP FR pipe wrap can also be used on specified metal pipes. Upon contact with fire the intumescent material will expand to 28 times its original size and seal off the pipe preventing the spread of fire.
- Up to 4 hour / 240 minute fire rating
- CE marked and certified for use on pipes made from:
- PE, PP, PVC, PVC-U, PVC-C, ABS, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, and SAN+PVC
- Also suitable for use on metal pipes with continuous combustible insulation
- Available in 4 sizes to suit 55mm, 82mm, 110mm or 160mm diameter pipes
- Tested to BS EN 13501 parts 1 & 2 for reaction / resistance to fire
- Under the correct conditions, Astroflame PFP FR intumescent pipes will give:
- Working life – up to 30 years
- Storage life – unlimited!
- Tested & certified for U/U pipe end applications
