How to use
Step 1: The Amigo Fire Escape Ladder is installed on an internal wall below an opening window. Neat and compact when not in use, this essential escape box is available for deployment at any time.
Step 2: In an emergency, the top cover of the storage box is lifted and thrown out of the window, carrying the ladder with it.
Step 3: When the ladder is fully extended, the standoffs make contact with the external wall and support and stabilise the ladder. By using the base of the storage box as a first step and the hand hold provided at the top of the ladder, exiting and descending in an emergency is simple, swift and safe.

A very well designed solution to the issue of escape during a fire. It can be used by and for a wide range of ages, including young children. Being compact it is relatively inconspicuous yet simple enough to deploy during an emergency . Despite being relatively expensive it is well worth the investment.

Satisfied with this robust product The ladder is heavy and was mistakenly delivered to my neighbour's house not to my house. I required to get a tradesman to install it into the wall. However now that it is installed I am very satisfied with it. It was easy to adjust the stand offs and the product seems robust. It is tricky to get all the rungs back into the case but with care it is possible. I have peace of mind that I or my tenants would now be able to exit from the first floor in the event of a fire. Many thanks.
