Weatherproof Emergency Luminaire Slave Unit JP/SL / JPX/SL

The JP/SL and JPX/SL weatherproof emergency luminaire slave units are general purpose, cost effective emergency lights suitable for external and arduous internal environments. In the event of a power failure, slave units are powered from a centrally located bank of batteries as opposed to an internal battery. The advantages of this are that larger batteries are more cost effective, have longer lifetimes and make maintenance and testing easier. The JP/SL is most suitable for industrial/commercial applications and the curvature of the JPX8 makes it more suitable for decorative prestigious locations. Both of these units are suitable for incorporation into an emergency lighting system complying with BS 5266-1:2011.
