Product Overview
The ESD/SL slimline emergency fire exit sign is suitable for interior applications. The low profile allows installation in locations where there is limited headroom and provides an elegant solution to emergency lighting requirements, complying with BS5266-1:2005. A slave unit has no internal backup battery fitted, it is instead powered by a central bank of batteries in the event of a power failure. The advantage of this arrangement are that larger batteries are more cost efficient, have a longer lifetime and the central location makes maintenance and testing easier.
