Schiller FRED Easyport Paediatric Defibrillator Pads

To give a child or infant patient the best chance of survival in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, it is important that they are given the correct level of defibrillation treament since their body size is typically much smaller than that of an adult. These paediatric pads, when used in conjunction with the Schiller FRED Easyport, are designed to provide a reduced energy shock level. When the pads are connected to the Easyport defibrillator, the device recognises that treatment for a child or infant is required and reduces the energy output accordingly.
