Recessed Slimline Emergency Fire Exit Sign Slave Unit - ESDR/SL

The ESDR/SL recessed slimline emergency fire exit sign slave units are modern, elegant emergency fire exit signs that are suitable for installation in prestigious buildings. The recessed units add style whilst being suitable for incorporation into emergency lighting systems complying with BS5266-1:2005. Slave units are different from maintained/non-maintained units in that they have no battery backup fitted. Instead they are powered from a bank of batteries centrally located within a building. The benefits of this type of arrangement are; larger batteries are cost efficient, have longer lifetimes and offer easier maintenance and testing from the central location.
