Mains Powered Smoke Alarms & Heat Alarms with Alkaline Back-up Battery - Aico Ei140e Series
The Ei140e series of mains powered smoke and heat alarms are supplied with an alkaline back-up battery and "easi-fit" base plate, conforming with BS 5839-6: 2019. A system of 12 alarms can be hardwire interlinked by using 3 core and earth cable. Once interlinked when one alarm is activated, this in turn triggers all other connected alarms and sounds the whole system. The Ei140e series succeeds the discontinued Ei130 series smoke and heat alarms.

- Ei144e heat alarm suitable for kitchens and garages
- Ei140e series alarms can interlink via cable (or wirelessly if purchased with radio-interlink base)
- Preconnected alkaline battery to reduce installation errors (alarm does not draw power until fitted to the mounting plate)
- Capable of interlinking with the Ei1529RC remote control switch
- Combined test and hush facility for easy weekly testing and maintenance
