Ei1516 Masking Plate For New Smoke & Heat Alarm Installations
The Ei1516 masking plate is used when replacing older, rectangular Ei smoke alarms, such as Ei150, Ei151, Ei154, Ei156, with new circular models. The plates cover any marks left by the previous unit and maintain the aesthetics of a room.
- Covers marks from previous installations
- Adhesive strips keep masking plate aligned during installation
- Foam gaskets reduce drafts and dust ingress
- Pre-drilled screw holes and wire cut-outs
- For use with the following replacement alarms:

- Ei168RC Radio-Interlink Bases

Didn't need them, in the end
The new alarm covered over where the old one had been even though the old one was square. Replaced EI151TL with EI161E. Plate would have been good though if you did need it.
