LifeVac Anti-Choking Devices

The LifeVac is an anti-choking device with a simple 3-step process; place, push, pull! It is non-invasive and causes no risk of damaging the oral cavity or further restricting the airway by forcing the object further down. Choking can kill in less than 10 minutes; with the very young, elderly and people with certain medical conditions being at increased risk. In choking cases, sometimes traditional methods of dislodging the blockage can be unsuccessful, with effective back or abdominal thrusts being more difficult to carry out on wheelchair users or people taller than the rescuer. In these instances, having a LifeVac to hand either at home, on the move or in your workplace could save a life.

The LifeVac is supplied with a number of different sized masks, making it suitable for use on young children as well as adults. The LifeVac can be used on patients that are laying down and is also effective in patients sitting up either with the rescuer in front or behind.
