FD60 Leaf And A Half Fire Doors
Providing a greater clear opening, but smaller than your traditional double fire doors, our selection of door and a half fire doors provide a standard sized door with the ability to be wider with an additional half sized leaf. In daily use, the active leaf (the larger sized door) is used as normal, with the passive or inactive leaf (the smaller sized door) kept closed unless required. This allows the opening, or aperture, to be widened when larger objects such as wheelchairs or beds, are being moved. In addition, these types of fire doors can be used when there is a large number of people present on specific days, allowing escape routes to comply in the event of an emergency.
