Drilling through the bottom of the box, while possible, will reduce the fire and water resistance of the fireproof box. If you need to protect valuables from theft we recommend that you purchase a front opening steel fireproof safe.

Damaged This survey has arrived at a very appropriate time as only yesterday I noticed, for the first time, that the hinges on this document box are damaged and cracked at either end. It must have arrived in this condition as it has been kept on a shelf since the day we got it.
