The Phoenix Vela 0804E security safe has been designed to store laptops up to 17" wide and has an overnight insurance rating of £1,000 cash and £10,000 valuables. The safe is fitted with a high security 4 digit electronic re-programmable lock and double bolt locking system to ensure maximum security for the safes contents in your home or office. Features a bright LED internal light to help you check the contents in low light conditions.

Q. How do I unlock my safe to change the batteries or access the contents if the batteries have run down?
A.
This safe is supplied with a manual override key which will allow you to open the safe to replace the batteries if they are depleted and the electronic lock is non-functional. It is a good idea to keep the override key in a secure location and not inside your safe.
Q. How do I reset my code lock to the default settings?
A.
When you receive the safe, it will have a default user code and master code. You may however decide to change these codes for security purposes. To reset the safe back to its default settings (to use the original user and master code), you first have to remove the lock casing and press the black button on the PCB for at least 3 seconds. The green light will blink twice, followed be the green, red and yellow light turning on and then off again at the same time. Your safe will now be set back to the original codes.
Q. Will this safe protect my documents and valuables from fire?
A.
