Fitting the Gloria Bracket and Quick Release Strap

Fitting the Gloria Extinguisher Bracket and Retaining Strap

The Gloria mounting bracket and retaining strap help to secure the extinguisher in buildings or vehicles, whilst ensuring that it can be accessed quickly in the event of a fire. The six steps below show how to fit the bracket and strap correctly.

Step 1.

Place the strap between the bracket and the wall / mounting surface, ensuring that the plastic keeper pin is between the vertical bars.

Step 2.

Fix the bracket firmly to the wall. The plastic keeper pin on the strap should keep the strap in a suitable position for the extinguisher.

Step 3.

Place the extinguisher into the bracket and wrap the strap around the extinguisher until the two ends meet.

Step 4.

Hook the red clip over the opposite end of the strap. Squeeze the red clip. The strap should tighten around the extinguishers body.

Step 5.

Once the red clip is folded over onto itself, push it firmly against the extinguishers body until it clicks into place and secures the extinguisher.

Step 6.

The extinguisher is now securely mounted. To release the extinguisher, open the red clip to gain access.
