Deputy Customer Service Team Leader

Overview

Safelincs are winners of Customer Service and Employer of the Year awards and are looking for a Deputy Customer Service Team Leader to join our team and share our passion for providing the best customer care possible.

In this role you will support the Customer Service Team Leader in developing and mentoring our team of Customer Service Administrators to provide market leading customer satisfaction.

You will need a good understanding of IT and have good English and Maths skills. Previous deputy experience is required; however, customer service experience is not essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

Deputy Team Leader

  • Distribute emails and workload to the Customer Service Team including eBay and Amazon
  • Have an active role in inducting new team members and providing accurate feedback for development meetings
  • Help to maintain a positive working environment and coach staff to develop their skills
  • In the absence of the Team Leader, you will have to record sickness, reply to negative TrustPilot, handle escalated customer issues and back to work interviews

Answering Customer Calls & Processing Sales

  • Deal with all customers interactions, such as telephone, email and online chat, in a professional manner
  • Provide customers with quotes and product information
  • Deal with customer and company information with strict confidentiality
  • Process sales through Khaos Control, Amazon and eBay
  • Proactively manage out-of-stock products, contacting customers with updates etc.
  • Provide customers with quotations and pro-forma invoices

Customer Care

  • Contact existing customers to check that they are happy with their orders
  • Proactively offer customers any relevant special offers
  • Arrange the collection of any goods from customers
  • Deal with customer complaints in a sympathetic and professional manner

You will be required to work within a rota of shifts, including some weekend and evening shifts. This role requires good organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Details

Job type: Full-time within a rota of shifts between 8.30am and 9.00pm Monday to Friday and occasional weekends (8.30am-5.00pm)

Wage: From £24,000 - £26,000 per annum with additional evening and weekend supplement

Location: Alford, Lincolnshire
