Operations Manager

Overview

Are you passionate about driving performance and efficiency? Do you want to work within a forward-thinking senior management team?

We are looking for an Operations Manager to take the lead in driving efficiency within our processes. They will be responsible for Goods Inwards, Fulfilment, Production, Purchasing and Maintenance.

Previous management experience is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

Goods Inwards and Fulfilment

  • Optimise all processes within the warehouse, introducing performance measurables
  • Working with Purchasing and Products Team on stock level optimisation and cost reduction
  • Liaise with Quality Manager to ensure that products with an expiry date are closely managed
  • Responsible for general stock management, ensuring correct stocks levels are shown

Production

  • Manage our production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality
  • Manage accurate production process documentation, following tight version control
  • Implement and manage a production specific training plan

Site Maintenance and Waste Management

  • Instruct and oversee the workload of all maintenance contractors
  • Oversee the company’s waste stream, communicating with recyclers and any other relevant waste contractors
  • Strive to minimise landfill waste
  • Ensure that the site is visitor ready at all times including warehouse and production areas

Wage: £30,000 - £35,000
