The First Alert 2037 fire and waterproof document storage box provides protection for paper documents, electronic media including CDs, DVDs and USB memory sticks. The box is provided which can house small suspension files suitable for A4 paper. As the chest is airtight, it is recommended that the unit is aired regularly to prevent moisture build-up and to store delicate valuables in an airtight bag/holder.

Q. Can the fireproof boxes be secured to the floor?
A.
Drilling through the bottom of the box, while possible, will reduce the fire and water resistance of the fireproof box. If you need to protect valuables from theft we recommend that you purchase a front opening steel fireproof safe.
