This will replace an identical sensor that has worked flawlessly for 16 years until it failed this month, sending a continuous false alarm that will not reset. I had three of this make and model: one continues to work flawlessly whilst another failed some years ago, sending spurious false alarms so I replaced it with a rate-of-rise detector.
Most fire detectors require 24 volt supply but I'm restricted to 12 volt models because my fire zones are incorporated into a 16-zone intruder alarm system that I installed myself in my house and outbuildings (to eliminate surface trunking and save cost.)
