BRK 660MBX Mains Powered Optical Smoke Alarms

This BRK 660MBX is a direct replacement for your outgoing BRK 660MBX optical smoke alarm which use replaceable alkaline batteries. Optical smoke detectors such as the 660MBX are largely replacing the older ionisation smoke detection technology and are better at detecting slow, smouldering fires. The 600 series alarms all use the same base so your new alarm is guaranteed to fit and be compatible with your existing system.

The supplied BRK 660MBX is a thermally enhanced optical smoke alarm ideal for most rooms in the house such as hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, and landings, including rooms that are usually covered by traditional ionisation alarms. This alarm features a central test and hush button making maintenance very easy while a replaceable 9V alkaline backup battery ensures that it continues to operate even during a power failure, so you are never without protection.
