The EDS/ST is a double sided, illuminated emergency escape route sign with self-test functionality suitable for interior applications. The self-test feature on the EDS/ST units ensures that lights test the circuitry and functionality and warn users if the lighting unit is not working as it should, saving time and money in not having to employ an electrician. The EDS units are suitable for incorporation into an emergency lighting system complying with BS 5266-1:2011.
