The deed box is ideal for protecting important documents, CDs, DVDs, memory stick and external hard drives. The chest is fitted with a key lock and supplied with two keys as standard, providing a safe storage place for legal documents, passports, title deeds, certificates and insurance policies. As the chest is airtight, it is recommended that the unit is aired regularly to prevent moisture build-up and to store delicate valuables in an airtight bag/holder.

Q. I want to be able use the deed box without needing the key every time. When unlocked is the deed box still fireproof and can the key then be removed?
A.
When unlocked the key can be removed and providing that the latch is closed it will still be fireproof even when unlocked.
Q. Can the deed box be secured to the wall or floor?
A.
Unfortunately, ther box cannot be secured to either floor of wall as this would mean drilling through the box and therefore nullify both the fire and water protection and the warranty.
