Easy to install. Fits the cradle of the old one (7years). Simple to understand. Hope it never alarms!!

Replaced my original kidde with this one and it fitted in the same wall mounting bracket - so no need to even mount the new one... Old one lasted 7 years.

Basic, reasonable price for peace of mind. Couldn't see why you would need a digital record of when it detected carbon monoxide previously - just want to know if there's a problem

This is an alarm, I tested it, it works, I hope never to find out it actually works when needed, if you understand what I am saying? But the look of your firm suggests trust, the value is superb, aesthically it looks good.

ALARMS SEEM TO BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T MUCH WAY OF TESTING HOW SENSITIVE THEY ARE

We bought this for our office (10 people work here and we have a gas fired heating system). It went off the day we set it up so we did as the leaflet said (called the gas emergency services, switched off the gas, opened windows etc. plus got our boiler engineer out to do a safety check). Luckily, it seemed to be a false alarm as the alarm hasn't gone off again since and both engineers who checked our system said everything was fine. Our engineer said we probably put it too close to the boiler which can trigger false alarms (when boilers start up they can release a bit of CO apparently), so we moved it to a better location. Despite the one false alarm we are happy to have this for peace of mind. I'm rating this 5 stars as I think the false alarm was due to our error. The product itself seems good and comes with batteries and an informative leaflet.
