The CS8/ST is a low cost emergency bulkhead light with self-test functionality, suitable for both internal and external applications. The self-test technology enables regular checks of the status of the emergency lighting unit, sounding an alarm and setting off a warning LED should there be any malfunction in the unit. The CS8/ST units are manufactured from polycarbonate ABS construction and are extremely durable, suitable for incorporation into emergency lighting systems complying with BS 5266-1:2011.

Yes, as this rating identifies that the unit is protected against low pressure jets from all directions - limited ingress permitted.
Q. Can these units be fitted using surface mounted cabling / trunking?

Yes, these emergency lighting units also have cable knock-outs allowing you to surface mount the cabling to the unit and if you so wish, to use trunking.
