Smoke alarm reminders - don't forget to test your alarm!

If you want to protect your family against fire, it is vital you have a smoke alarm. Once installed, it’s important you monitor the alarm, making sure it is regularly tested, the batteries are replaced before the low battery warning and the unit itself is changed before it reaches the use before date. Unfortunately it’s all too easy to forget to do these things, so we provide this completely free reminders service to help.

We offer reminders through email, SMS and Twitter. We don’t charge you a penny for these reminders, and even receiving text messages from us won’t cost you anything. Your contact details are safe with us too – we hate spam and will only use your data ourselves, to contact you remind you or about the reminders service.

A number of reminders are available, including testing your alarm, the 5 yearly battery replacements and also a reminder to change the alarm after 10 years. It’s a quick and easy way to make sure you’re doing everything you can to stay safe from fire in your home.

Smoke Alarms Testing Reminders

Smoke alarms require routine testing to ensure that they function correctly when they are really needed. However, we tend to forget to carry out this test. This reminder service will remind you when your alarms need testing next time.
