Megalarm Wireless Optical Smoke Detector

The Megalarm optical smoke alarm requires no wiring for installation or interconnection. The wireless capability of the Megalarm site alarm system makes this the ideal fire alarm solution for temporary sites and buildings such as event marquees. Upon activation, the optical smoke alarm sounds at 85dB and sends a radio connection to the Megalarm Base Alarm Unit and all other devices in the system. The optical smoke alarm can be positioned up to 100m away from the base alarm unit in open area spaces. When connected, all sounder devices will be activated and the Megalarm Base Alarm Unit also sounds an alarm and flashes a high power LED strobe for additional warning.
