Our top opening, portable fireproof boxes are used to store valuable or important documents which must be protected from fire. As paper decomposes in the heat from a fire, fireproof boxes must keep the temperature low within the box. They therefore have walls made from a special filler which absorbs the heat of the fire. The intumescent seals of the fireproof box will fuse and hermetically seal the box to avoid any smoke entering the box and to avoid the moisture content to change in the box during the fire.
