Q.Would the hallway outside the room where the gas fire is located be a suitable location for a combination detector? ( The house is a bungalow--all on one level )
A.If you are installing only one alarm, ensure it is placed in the hallway outside of the main sleeping area, or in the main bedroom. It is essential you can hear the alarm from the sleeping areas as Carbon Monoxide is colourless, odourless and tasteless, therefore only being detected with the alarm.

NOT HAD LONG ENOUGH TO PROVIDE AN INFORMED OPINION BUT THE PRODUCT LOOKS GOOD AND WAS EASY TO INSTALL & TEST.

My last one only lasted 2 years and went to 30 second bleeps so item faulty hence another one ordered. Happy with unit when working.

Can't fault it. I accidently dropped the one I had when the signal went off in the night/re low batteries. So had to replace the unit.
