Apollo Discovery Heat Detector
The Apollo Discovery heat detector can operate under 5 response modes according to the behaviour required for the particular environment. Incorporating a fixed temperature response for all modes, the Discovery heat detector can also be configured as a rate of rise unit. The Apollo heat detector uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature and has a self-extinguishing white polycarbonate housing.
- Uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature
- Features 5 modes relating to different heat detection classifications:
- Mode 1 – A1R
- Mode 2 – A2R
- Mode 3 – A2S
- Mode 4 – CR
- Mode 5 – CS
- Can be configured as a rate of rise detector
- Ideal for environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditions
- Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure
- Two red LED alarm indicators
- Forms part of an addressable fire alarm system
- Designed for use in conjunction with Morley DXc, Kentec Syncro AS and XFP panels
- Self-extinguishing polycarbonate housing
- IP54 rating
- LPCB and VdS approved and CE marked
Please note: The Apollo Discovery detectors require a standard, isolated or sounder beacon base to operate with addressable fire alarm panels.
