Mains Powered Heat Alarm with Back-Up Battery - Kidde Firex KF30

The updated Kidde Firex KF30 and KF30R alarms are mains powered interlinking heat alarms that are up to 70% more energy efficient than previous Firex models. These hard wired units have battery back-up cells and can be interlinked with other units from the series to create all round fire protection within the home. Heat alarms are the ideal detectors for kitchens and garages and are perfect for reducing nuisance alarms caused by cooking fumes and dust.

Please note: The Kidde Firex KF30 (previously KF3 / 4899 / H230CT) and KF30R (previously KF3R / 4892 / HR230CT) are replacements for the Kidde 323/9HI and 323/9HILL series and can be electrically interlinked. However, the new models cannot be used on the old base plates for the 323/9HI and 323/9HILL series as they use different style connector blocks. This means that base plates must be swapped over on those stated models and connectors need to be replaced.
