Mains Powered 2 Smoke Alarms and 1 Heat Alarm Kit with Alkaline Back-up Battery - Kidde Firex KF Series
This kit includes two smoke alarms and one heat alarm from the Kidde Firex KF range. All alarms in this bundle are mains powered, and feature an alkaline back-up battery so they can continue to provide fire protection in the event of a mains power failure. Smoke alarms are suitable for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living areas whereas heat alarms are suitable for installing in the kitchen, garage or unoccupied loft space. This range allows up to 24 compatible Kidde KF devices to be hardwire interlinked to ensure that if one alarm is activated, the other alarms in the system activate and alert you to the fire for maximum protection.

Reasonably priced alternative replacement system for original which had been discontinued
It took us a while to fit the alarms a few weeks ago, but we got there in the end! One alarm sounded in the early hours last week which fortunately was a false alarm. I suggest you familiarise yourself with the user manual and keep a screwdriver nearby in case you should have to take it apart. We can only think it was some dust which had set it off. All 3 units sounded in unison, so it worked well. It definitely woke us all up.
