A. The Ei407 is powered by an internal 10 year life lithium battery without any wiring needed and is linked to other wireless smoke alarms of the Ei family, whilst the Ei401RC requires a mains power supply and uses a wired interconnection with mains powered alarms.

A. The wireless manual call point that can be used with the Ei3100RF is the Ei407.
Q. Where a call point is installed on every floor of a 4 storey house along with multiple smoke alarms, will all alarms go off regardless of which call point is used to raise the alarm?
A. Yes, once the alarms and call points have been house-coded they will all go off if one is triggered either by the use of a call point or if one alarm detects fire.
