Radio-interlinked smoke alarms connect through radio frequency signals to ensure a fire alarm is heard in the entire building.
Designed to provide home owners with an early warning of fire, this kit includes 4 UltraFire ULL10RF series alarms which can be wirelessly interlinked in a system of up to 15 individual alarms – if one detects a fire, all connected alarms will sound. The 3 ULLS10RF optical smoke alarms are great for most rooms not regularly exposed to steam, fumes, or dust, while the ULLH10RF heat alarm has been included for the kitchen where cooking fumes, burnt toast, or humidity could cause false activations in a smoke sensor. UltraFire ULL10RF series alarms all feature 10 year sealed lithium batteries, which won't need changing for their full lifespan, and a 10 year warranty for peace of mind.

The best location to install your smoke alarm is in the centre of the ceiling rather than on the wall.
During a fire, smoke initially rises and then spreads horizontally. Placing the smoke alarm in the centre of your ceiling means that it is closest to all four points of your room. This ensures that you receive the earliest possible warning of a fire.
For more information, read our guide to positioning your smoke alarm and guide to which smoke alarms are best for each room.
Smoke alarms can be either screwed to the ceiling using the holes on the base plate (screws provided), or fixed in place using either a self-adhesive sticky pad or a self-adhesive magnetic mounting kit.
Yes, should the radio interlinking signal fail the units will continue to sound independently should they detect a fire.

Good product Had a little difficulty in linking the alarms. I phoned your office and was given a link to a video which was first class. I'm not sure if the link was in your instructions but if if isn't I would certainly put it in in big bold letters.
