Fire Door Installation

Fire doors and frames are an essential part of a building's fire compartmentation system and so it is imperative that they are installed correctly. UK law places an obligation on building operators to ensure compliance. It is critical that fire doors are installed correctly by a competent person otherwise they will not be effective at holding back fire and smoke. Not all joiners and carpenters understand the installation and maintenance requirements for fire doors so only qualified installers should be considered.

For all fire door sets purchased from Safelincs – including any selected hardware such as handles, letterboxes, and kickplates – we can offer a certified installation service carried out by our team of qualified engineers. Fire doors and installation can be purchased through our fire door configurator or you can contact a member of our team to discuss other options at firedoors@safelincs.co.uk.

Please note: Double door sets are classified as 2 individual fire doors and will incur the additional door charge.

Please note: This service is for the installation of fire doors only, if you require installation of both fire door and frame, there will be an additional £50.00 charge for the frame installation.
