Evacuation Chair "Train the Trainer" Course - Safelincs

This course trains participants how to correctly use an evacuation chair and how to confidently train others in its proper use. An Evacuation Chair is a vehicle to get an incapacitated person down from an upper floor when they cannot use the lift because it is not working or the building is on fire. On successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to provide training to other members of staff so that they can be evacuation chair operators without any significant risk to the operator’s own health and safety.

• Evac+Chair training is a legal requirement
• It is recommended that participants have previously attended an 'Evacuation Chair Training' session
• Certified training course lasting up to 4 hours for 2 to 4 people
• Access to an Evac-Chair and a stairwell for the entire course duration
• A safety check of your chair
• Deliver a 'mock' evacuation chair training session to peers
• In-house training inclusive of assessment
• Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years
• Delegates can train, as many of your employees as required, within the same 3 year period
